Welcome to the Fall 2026 CSCI 0190 (formerly known as cs019)!
Some tips for learning the material well and doing well in the course:
Attend class and engage in the peer instruction activities that are taking place.
Pay attention in class. You help one another if you do so.
Read the text and explain things to yourself as you go along.
Almost everything in the design of this class is
driven a significant body of
research. This may not always be apparent, but everything we
do is for a reason. If in doubt, ask!
Also keep in mind the Goodhart overhang, especially for grades.
