2/15 - Meeting with Charly Adler at Met School
- First meeting with Charly Adler, the 9th grade health teacher, at the Met School in Downtown, Providence
- Discussed the main goals of the project, keeping the students' interests and backgrounds in mind
- Photocopied the 9th Grade Health Curriculum Books, geared toward the state-mandated exam the students have to take
- Surveyed the school's computer/technical facilities
- Decided on main focus of project; started brainstorming ideas
2/16 - Short Organizational Group Meeting
- Brainstormed about project more
- Decided which section of health to focus on for the 9th graders - drugs
- Compared schedules for a general weekly meeting time
- Discussed possible programs to use for project
2/26 - Group Meeting
- Discussed project themes - decided on a "Choose Your Own Adventure" theme
- Decided on using Director
- Discussed possible places to store and back up files
- Established weekly group meeting time to be Wednesday nights
- Read the copies of the health books given to us at the first meeting
- Started to discuss the project in more detail

- Searched for web sites specific to health that could give us more information
- Decided to break up and think individually more about exactly what "adventures"
we wanted the kids to have in the project

- Discussed in more detail the "adventures" which will be part of program

- Read through questions asked by classmates following storyboard presentation
- Discussed possible answers and ways to improve project

- Started to write out the scenes for the "adventures"
- Divided up work amongst ourselves
4/5 - Group Meeting
- Came together to compare research notes and scenes
- Created timetable for remainder of project
4/12 - Group Meeting
- Checked in and referred to timetable, making sure we were still on track
- Decided on the exact layout and color scheme, so graphics could be worked on
4/19 - Group Meeting
- Discussed new graphics that had been completed
- Finished working on scenes together
4/26 - Group Meeting
- Worked on the scripting in Director - a few scenes were completed
- Took pictures around Providence for backdrops of different scenes in project
5/3 - Group Meeting
- Scanned pictures and set them up in Director
- Finished all scenes and content
5/7 - Group Meeting
- Worked on last-minute things: documentation, code clean-up, photo/graphic touch-ups, etc.
- Tested entire project, running through every choice in every scene, checking for clarity and errors
- Reflected on semester and project
