INTENDED AUDIENCE
This project was designed for a sixth grade class. Its graphics are entertaining and useful. The student using the project should know multiplication and division and know how to deal with simple formulae. A very besic idea of some physics equations would also be helpful.
EDUCATIONAL GOALS
This project uses the example of a ship to discuss some basic physical laws. It includes concepts of mass as well as force and bouyancy. The project asks questions of the students and gives them a reference section where they can look up the needed formulas and read descriptions of concepts.

"Project Water" is a very basic yet interesting way to review some basic mathematical concepts and formulas. It also helps teach good reasearch skills.
