What is a Storyboard?

Computer programs are often "mapped out" prior to coding, in order to provide a coherent organizational scheme into which code can be placed. This process is useful in organizing the efforts of many persons, and makes subsequent coding much more efficient. In this class, the storyboard presentations were used to propose to the class the format our educational software would take, as well as to illustrate specific portions of the software which had already been coded. The rationale behind the presentation is to force the software developers to clarify the organization and goals of their software, and allows other to provide criticism during the early stages of development.
