I didn't find this paper that interesting. I like the basic idea of creating truly educational games which are engaging and succeed in emparting knowledge, but the paper didn't leave me with any greater understanding of how this could happen.

Multimedia is a tool which can be used for teaching, but clearly hasn't been harnassed to its fullest extent. I'm not convinced that games are the best engine for learning via multimedia.
