About Me

I am sixth-year PhD student in Computer Science at Brown University advised by Shriram Krishnamurthi.

My current research focuses on the usability of app permissions. I am exploring how to use social ratings of permissions to help users understand the potential risks associated with permissions, and therefore make more informed decisions about which apps to install on their devices, and how to manage those apps' permissions.

I introduce the ideas and goals of this work in a series of blog posts. You can find the first one here.
