NewsView is an application that crawls various network "news" sites (such as cnn.com, news.google.com, nytimes.com) to find out where news is currently happening in the world and in the USA. It displays this information using color on an appropriate map. It automatically updates every five minutes or so to provide a current perspective on world events.
