NAME

     xstartfred - start FrameMaker with Desert extensions

SYNOPSIS

     xstartfred [ -nologo ]

DESCRIPTION

     xstartfred starts up FrameMaker with all the Desert extensions.
     These include the ability to load in C, C++, or Java source files
     and do real program editing; the ability to search for nouns and
     verbs to build an table of perspective objects; and a literate
     programming facility.  If no project is defined for the current
     working directory, the user will be asked to create one and comd
     (see xstartcomd (1)) will be run automatically.  For further
     information see the Desert documentation available through a web
     browser.

OPTIONS

     -nologo
          Do not display the Desert logo at startup if this is the
          first Desert tool to run.
