This milestone focuses on abstractions and systems support for addressing a set of nodes as a single system. These abstractions and support comes with additional infrastructure for scalable protocols for assessing the status of nodes in a node group—e.g., for discovering that a node has gone out of sight—and for relaying messaging to node groups in a scalable fashion.
