AnimatedTexture2 - Installing binaries

Tested Configurations

This binary distribution of AnimatedTexture2 should work on any machine with Silicon Graphics Open Inventor (TM) 2.1.1 and hardware texture mapping. Please email lsh@cs.brown.edu if you are able to run on other configurations

SGI Onyx Reality Engine 2, Irix 5.3, 2 processors, running Open Inventor 2.1.1

Installation instructions

Retrieve binary distribution from ftp://ftp.cs.brown.edu/pub/AnimatedTexture2/AnimatedTexture2.bin.tar.Z
Unpack binary distribution
- zcat AnimatedTexture2.bin.tar.Z | tar xvf -
The test application is texture
If you want to make the AnimatedTexture2 node available to all Inventor programs on your machine (SGI only), copy the AnimatedTexture.so file to the Inventor DSO directory
- [Open Inventor 2.1.1] cp AnimatedTexture2.so /usr/local/lib/InventorDSO
