Ph.D. Student Jeff Rasley Receives NSF Graduate Research Fellowship

Computer Science PhD graduate student Jeff Rasley has received a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship, a prestigious and highly competitive program.

Jeff is broadly interested in networks, distributed systems, and security. His current research is on network profiling of "big data" workloads, which aims to better understand the interaction and performance of data center networks and “big data” computing frameworks such as Hadoop. He is advised by Rodrigo Fonseca.

Jeff joins our other PhD students who have been recently supported by NSF Graduate Fellowships: Connor Gramazio, Michael Hughes, Dae Il Kim, Mark Leiserson, and Layla Oesper.
